The Nittany Epicurean Reviews 2017 Aridus Wine Company Tempranillo

2017 Aridus Wine Company Tempranillo

Last month, we returned to Arizona to enjoy a bold red wine from Aridus Wine Company - the 2017 Petite Sirah produced & bottled by Aridus Wine Company. Today, we'll travel back to Willcox to enjoy another red wine from this winery

2017 Tempranillo produced & bottled by Aridus Wine Company (Willcox, Arizona).

This wine is 100?% tempranillo from Cochise County. Following fermentation, the wine was aged for 18 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels. It comes in at 13.3% ABV.

Here it is in the glass:

One more:

The wine showed a dark ruby color. Cherry, blackberry, eucalyptus, raspberry preserves, vanilla and oak all arrived on a nose adorned with ripe cherry fruit. Black cherry, vanilla, plum, eucalyptus, raspberry preserves and oak followed on the palate where the cherry theme strengthened. The wine was full-bodied and exhibited great length along with velvety tannins. This wine would pair very well with an array of charcuterie to share amongst family and friends.
This wine* can be purchased for $40 at one of the winery's tasting rooms or directly from its website.
Stay tuned for more from Aridus Wine Company!
